72 Hour Emergency Survival Kits

You are the first level of response when disasters occur.  Local government and relief agencies will try to help, but do not be dependent on them.  You need to prepare to take care of yourself in every way that you can.

Be prepared to provide food, first aid, sanitation, shelter, and water for at least 72 hours. Storing the following items at home will help you during emergency situations.  Make sure that all family members know where these items are located.  Packing these supplies into grab bags or back packs is a great idea in the event you needed to evacuate quickly.
